Collect Your DNA Sample
Before You Begin
Wash your hands thoroughly. Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum for 30 minutes before collecting your sample. Have a clean surface ready to place your kit components.
Carefully open the Sterile Swab without touching the soft tip. Hold the stick by the handle.
Rub the swab Firmly against the inside of your cheek for 30-60 seconds in a circular motion. Ensure you collect enough cells.
Repeat the process on the other cheek with the same swab for better sample quality.
Open the Sample Tube and insert the swab inside.
Close the tube Tightly to avoid contamination or leaks.
